About You: You are a "people person" with 2-5 years of successful sales support, government/public sector contracting and/or direct BD/Sales experience, ideally working with public sector customers and/or distributors. You understand the public sector sales cycle and have exposure working within a repeatable sales processes. Helpful (not necessary) if you also have prior work experience in any of the customer groups (military, law enforcement) or as an end user of optical products (scopes, range finders, NVDs etc). You are outgoing, proactive, customer-service focused externally and internally, like to get things done, and work successfully in teams by using clear, timely communication, good judgment, and quick, creative problem solving. You can utilize basic sales prospecting software tools, MS Office suite, customer management systems (CMS) tools, and report out sales data. Qualifying sales opportunities Assist Sales team with qualifying live opportunitiesthrough research and outreach based on qualifying criteria. We will train you in our process.
Prospecting Research : Using online portals and software, assist the sales team with identifying potential federal, state, local, and international government customers and prospective channel and distribution partners in the US, EU, rest of the world. Identify, maintain, and track lists of upcoming competitions and contract buys, and work with sales team to pursue those deals, including through the RFP and contracting process.
Inbound Leads. Work with sales leaders to build out and manage the funnel of inbound leads.
Pipeline Management Work collaboratively with sales leaders to manage, track, and analyze sales pipeline data that tracks our performance.
Customer education and branding . Working with Sales team, IT and Marketing, help ATN continue to build our military and law enforcement brand and market presence.
Trade Show Support Take the operational lead to ensure that our customer engagement and presence at tradeshows is smooth and successful.
